Avianca launches a new route between Bogota and Montreal
Avianca, Colombia’s leading airline, has announced the opening of a new direct route between Bogota and Montreal. This new route, which strengthens the connectivity between Colombia and Canada, is excellent news for business and leisure travellers, offering a direct connection between these two dynamic cities.
Bogota to Montreal: A bridge between South America and Canada
The link between Bogota and Montreal is a godsend for travellers looking to explore the cultural diversity and economic opportunities between South America and Canada. This new direct route, which will be operated from 31 March 2024, will enable travellers to easily discover this cosmopolitan city.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
Flight : Bogota (14:20)* to Montréal (22:05)*
Flight : Montréal (23:25)* to Bogota (04:39)*

This new route will offer passengers the comfort and quality of service characteristic of the airline. Flights will be operated with 180-seat Airbus A320s, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing travel experience. The new route will make travel between Bogotá and Montreal quicker and easier, with no intermediate stops.
Strengthening ties between Colombia and Canada
This announcement demonstrates Avianca’s commitment to strengthening ties between Colombia and Canada. By improving air connectivity, Avianca is playing a key role in promoting tourism and trade between the two countries. Between January and August 2023, the number of Canadian travellers increased by 55% compared with the previous year.
The inauguration of this direct service to Montreal by Avianca is in addition to the existing service between Bogota and Toronto and marks an important step in the strengthening of air relations between Colombia and Canada.
